小野内商店の小野内さん☂

今日は今週4/17(金)から始まる、小野内商店の小野内さんについてご紹介します

小野内商店さんは京都で明治35年に創業された老舗の洋傘屋さん。今はお姉さんの香織さんと弟の宗士さんが引き継がれ、生地の選定やデザインから傘作りまでをお二人が一手に担っていらっしゃいます

来週からのイベントでは前日にはお二人が自らディスプレイしにPayungに来て下さり、香織さんが4/18と25の土曜日に在店して下さる予定です。香織さんはPayungのお客さまと同世代。落ち着いた雰囲気の内側に鮮やかなパッションを持った方です。お話を伺うと、大学で美術を教えてらっしゃったとか。なるほど！大納得です！

そんな香織さんが作り出すデザインはレースと単色の2枚合わせだったり、色×色の鮮やかな色合わせだったり、他では見ないような傘ばかり。小野内さんのお客さまは何本もコレクションしてその日のコーディネートに合わせて傘を選ぶ方も多いのだとか。

about ONOUCHI san☂️

Today, we will introduce Onouchi san of Onouchi Shoten, whose event starts this Friday, 17th April.

Onouchi Shoten is a long-established umbrella shop founded in Kyoto in 1903. Currently, Kaori san and Takashi san have taken over the business, handling everything from fabric selection and design to umbrella making themselves.

For next week’s event, the two of them will come to Payung the day before to set up the display, and Kaori san is scheduled to be in the store on Saturday,18 and 25 April. Kaori san is the same age group as Payung’s customers. She has a calm demeanor but holds a vivid passion within. When listening to her, you find out she taught art at university. Makes perfect sense!

The designs created by Kaori san feature combinations such as lace with a single color or vibrant color with another color, resulting in umbrellas that you won’t see anywhere else. Many of Onouchi Shoten’s customers collect several umbrellas and choose one to match their outfit for the day.

Onouchi Shoten also accepts made-to-order umbrellas using your own fabric. Some customers have their memorable kimono or fabric made into umbrellas from scratch.
